GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) — A man has been charged with murder in the deaths the two women whose bodies were found in a Greenwood motel.

Police say 28-year-old Terrance Thomas was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of murder and one count of using a deadly weapon during a violent crime.

Police say a maintenance worker discovered the bodies of two women at around 5 p.m. Wednesday in a room at the Extended Stay Motel.

Coroner Sonny Cox says the women were 33-year-old as Elizabeth Brooke Bourne of Greenwood and 38-year-old Danielle Quinn Graham of Ware Shoals. Each died from a single shot to the head.

Thomas was expected in court Friday, and it wasn’t immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
