Will it happen?  I don’t know for sure, but I believe they have a chance.  Here are my keys to a Panther ‘W’ in San Francisco.

1) Win the Battle on the Ground- These two teams run the ball more than anyone in the NFL.  The Niners run it 50 percent of the time and the Panthers 47 percent.  Whoever can establish the run and get the most out of it will win the game.

2) Turnover battle- In the 4 game win streak, the Panthers have forced 10 TOs and only had 2 themselves.  They are 3rd in the NFC with a plus 8 TO margin.  Cam protecting the ball and the Defense creating miscues are essential.

3) Protect Cam- The Niners will get Aldon Smith back and they need him.  They are 29th in the NFL in sack percentage.  But, the Panthers Oline is 27th in sack percent alllowed.  When they don’t protect cam, they usually don’t win.  Jordan Gross and Travelle Wharton against Smith and his buddy Justin Smith will be huge.

4) Finish in the Red Zone- The Panthers offense  is 10th in red zone scoring and the Niners defense is 28th.  This could be a big advantage because a couple TDs in this game could go a long way.
