Former Packers great Donald Driver joined the Mac Attack to discuss his new book, his thoughts on Steve Smith, his incredible journey to the NFL and much more
Donald explained his journey from homelessness to the NFL. He says he had to break the trend. You have to figure out how to overcome adversity. I slowed my wife down, met my beautiful wife, and chose her over the drugs I was using. 13 years of marriage, 3 kids, and I don’t regret it for a day. Mac and Donald then joke back and forth about his championship on Dancing With The Stars.
Steve Smith and everything he has accomplished in his career is amazing. I’m close friends with him. I take my hate off to him. He makes plays every year when people think he is going to slow down. It cracks me up that every time I see him on TV he is right around the brawl. That is the way he is though and it shows his love for the game
Mac, Jim and Donald also discuss his first Lambeau Leap, playing with Favre and Rodgers, and his Packers legacy.
