Ok, so alot of these are ugly, but you need to know the truth. Here is a look at the Panthers after 2 weeks by the numbers.

 1- That is where Star Lotulelei ranks among rookies on Pro Football Focus.com. 

2- That is Star’s Pro Football Focus Run Defense ranking among interior lineman.  The Rookie has been a bright spot.

3- Star’s overall rank on PFF among DTs. 

119- That is the QB rating of EJ Manuel when throwing at Jon Beason in coverage.  EJ went 5-5 for 112 yards against Beason on Sunday.

20- Cam is 20 percent (2-10) this season on passes thrown over 20 yards in the air.  Last year he was 44 pct on the same throws and that was one of the best marks in the league.

5- The number of players in the Secondary who were injured in the Buffalo game.  Sure, the Panthers were bad Sunday, but their luck was too.

94– Cam’s QB Rating when he is not under pressure so far this season.

71- Cam’s QB Rating when under pressure this year.

32- The Good News is the Giants are last in the NFL in Run Blocking according to Pro Football Outsiders.

147.9- The QB Rating on passes thrown on Josh Norman on Sunday vs Buffalo

8- The Panthers rank according to Pro Football Focus in Special Teams.  The top ranking of any phase for the Cats.

51- Average rushing yards from Cam Newton in wins in his career.

35- Average rush yards for Cam in losses.
