From Fox Sports Charles Davis: “If The Players Like Ron So Much Win Some Games For Him”
The Drive Wednesday 9-18-13 – Charles Davis talks with The Drive to preview the weekends college football games. We go all over the board really. We start with this past weekends game of Alabama vs Texas A and M, then move on to the decline of the Big Ten and if that will hurt Ohio St’s chances of getting to Pasadena, and finally we get into the NFL by asking Charles about the Carolina Panthers and if Ron Rivera will finish the season as the head coach of the Panthers.
Charles Davis joins The Drive to talk first about the counter culture of Berkley California.
“Taylor did you even need a plane to fly back on from Berkley”
“You can wake up and walk five steps and be all good.”
We get serious by asking Charles about Johnny Manziel and if he could’ve won that game against Alabama if they had any kind of a defense.
“That game was close to a choke out…Bama just kept scoring”
“As many great plays as Manziel made I thought his receivers grew up a lot in that game”
After two tough loss for the Panthers we ask Charles about Ron Rivera and if he sees him being the coach at the end of the season.
“This is the same start for them that they can not afford”
“Bad start then they finish with a rush. Well is that a good season? Not really.”
Charles Davis has the call of the Stanford Arizona st game this Saturday on Fox.
