EASLEY, S.C. (AP) — Easley police are looking for two brothers wanted on attempted murder and other charges after they walked away from a hospital where they were being treated following a crash during a police chase.

Police said they are looking for 23-year-old Terrance Anthony Johnson and 22-year-old Tevis Christopher Johnson.

Maj. Tim Tollison said two men entered a convenience store Tuesday night and robbed the clerk.

Tollison says during a police chase the car hit a utility pole.

The brothers and a woman driving the car were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries in the wreck.

Police said they had made arrangements to take the men into custody when they were released from the hospital, but the men left without the knowledge of the hospital staff Wednesday night.
