Ok, it was another tough loss for the Cats on Sunday vs Seattle.  Time to take a deeper look at the game, with a few interesting numbers for the contest.

* Defensive Line got pressure on 38 percent of the pass plays.  Only 4 offensive lines gave up pressure more frequentlty than that last season.

* The Panthers only threw the ball in the air 10 yards or more 5 times.  Cam was 4-5 for 63 yards on those passes.

* Star Lotoulelei has 3 tackles for loss in his first ever game.

* Passes thrown at CB Josh Thomas resulted in a 158.3 QB rating for Russell Wilson.  Yes, folks that is a perfect rating.

* Brandon Lafell was unoffically targeted with 2 passes.   Both were imcompletions and both plays were negated by penalties.

* 18 of Cam’s 23 offical targets were thrown to Smitty and Olsen.

* 3 penalties were drawn by the Panthers pass rush.  Two of them were holding and another one was intentional grounding.  Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy were involved in drawing multiple penalties.

* It is fairly unoffical, but after watching the game again, I counted 5 read option plays run by the Panthers.
