Taylor’s Top 25, Weekly Picks, Season Predictions, & More
This is my tenth year living in North Carolina during college football season. NC State had a chance at making some national noise in 2004, but fell flat in their faces. North Carolina had an even better opportunity in 2010 but the NCAA virtually wiped them off of the mat. And unfortunately, the waiting will continue in 2013. The Tar Heels and Wake Forest have a chance at right wins, but I would be surprised to see a team from this state make the top 25.
So, once again we have to go down a state to watch some football that moves the needle nationally. Clemson is going to be outstanding on offense, but their schedule worries me. Meanwhile, this should be the best team South Carolina has ever fielded. If they beat Georgia in week two they have a legitimate shot to get to Atlanta undefeated.
