(CBS Charlotte) — Have you ever wondered what the foods you eat say about you?
You’ve heard it a hundred times before, eating sweets is bad for you. Eating sweets can cause cavities and can lead to obesity — but at last, there may be some good news about eating your favorite sugary treats.
People who have a sweet tooth tend to have agreeable and cooperative personalities — which are both likable traits. Additionally, people who preferred sweets were generally more giving and helpful than people who lacked a sweet tooth.
For spicy food lovers, your desire to eat hot foods suggests that you may be a bit of a thrill-seeker. On the other hand, people who shy away from spicy food tend to participate less in adventurous activities.
For the person who prefers meat and potatoes, their personalities tend to lean more towards being outgoing. People who prefer to eat proteins are generally more social than people with other food preferences, and like to surround themselves with a lot of people.
For people who eat a lot of salty foods, their food preference suggests that they may be more easy going than people who prefer sweets, proteins, or spicy foods.
As with anything in life, moderation is the key to health and happiness. Remember, too many sweets can send your dentist bill through the roof, eating spicy foods in excess can cause heart burn,
too many plates of “meat and potatoes” can cause a heart attack, and over time, eating too much sodium can cause high blood pressure.
