TRAVELERS REST, S.C. (AP) — A Greenville County woman has been charged with running a puppy mill after dozens of dogs were seized from her home.

Sheriff’s deputies say Lindsey Lindstrom was cited Wednesday with running a puppy mill, animal cruelty, illegal conditions and failure to display rabies vaccination tags.

Lindstrom says she is not running a puppy mill and says the dogs are well cared for. Lindstrom says she breeds the dogs for profit but has not been able to get out and sell them because of bad weather recently.

It wasn’t known if Lindstrom had an attorney.
