As much as it pains me to say this, I begrudgingly congratulate LeBron James and the Miami Heat making it to their consecutive NBA Finals…
Conversely, the “BIGGEST, FAKEST FAIRWEATHER FANBASE IN SPORTS” Miami gets another chance of seeing their “Manufactured Dynasty” try to win another NBA title…speaking of, how about Justin Bieber’s FAKE Allegiance to the Miami Heat after his Lakers team got SWEPT by Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, & the Spurs…
Now, all the NBA suits and ABC executives can toast their glasses of Cristal that they will get HUGE RATINGS for the finals.
An EPIC 13 inning thriller with UNC nearly choking away their national #1 seed and entire season away before Cody Stubbs came through to lead the Tar Heels to victory.
The number of different team champs in the last 30 seasons: NBA (8), NFL (15), NHL (16), MLB (19).
From one scintillating weekend of the college baseball’s regionals to this weekend’s super regionals in the Triangle pairing N.C. State vs. Rice in Raleigh and UNC hosting South Carolina in Chapel Hill, I can’t wait to be there.
N.C. State is the only school to play in a bowl game, reach the NCAA Tournament in basketball, and host a super regional in baseball this year.
The top rated channel on TV last night was TNT. The Pacers-Heat game delivered an 8.6 overnight, the top NBA overnight all season. Pacers/Heat series averaged a 37.1 overnight TV rating in Miami and a 21.9 overnight TV rating in Indianapolis.
Despite their role as underdogs, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are having renaissance all-NBA seasons. Not to mention, they have the “Bill Belichick of the NBA”, Gregg Popovich. With that being said, I’m taking the Spurs over the “pre-ordained, manufactured dynasty” Miami Heat in 6 games. The Spurs will enjoy their 5th NBA World Title over the last 15 years to cement their legacy as a TRUE, official dynasty.
On behalf of America, I would like to say “LET’S GO SPURS…LET’S GO SPURS!!!”
