Injuries Reported After Drive-By Shooting In Charlotte

(CBS Charlotte) — Three people were shot this afternoon in a drive-by shooting in Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were dispatched to the corner of Kennon and Pegram Street shortly after 4:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found three men who had suffered gun shot wounds.

The shooting occurred just outside of Uptown Charlotte, in a relatively quite area.

The victims were transported to CMC Main. Initial reports suggested that the victims’ injuries were life threatening, however, as of this evening, they are all expected to survive.

At this time, police have not named any suspects in the case.
