Police Arrest Two Additional Suspects After String Of Bizarre Crimes

(CBS Charlotte) — A third man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion and carjacking that occurred last week.

We first reported that a manhunt was underway last Wednesday, after a series of bizarre crimes across several local counties.

After two home invasions, a carjacking, several car thefts, a shootout with police, a stolen police cruiser, and a police chase — the suspects continued to evade police officers.

The first suspect was arrested last week, after he crashed the stolen police cruiser near Norwood, North Carolina.

If was first thought that there were only two suspects involved in these crimes, however, two more suspects have been arrested over the last two days in connections with this case.

After the first arrest last week, one suspect was arrested yesterday in Cabarrus County, followed by the arrest of an additional suspect this morning.
