First and foremost, I commend Jason Collins for becoming the first ever openly Gay male athlete in professional sports. It took tremendous courage for him to come out and let all walks of life know it is okay to be gay in today and tomorrow’s world.

With that being said, my personal and professional point of view does not change on Jason Collins or any other athlete, musician, politician, doctor, or private figure who chooses an alternative lifestyle. What someone chooses to do in his or her personal life does not change and will never change the way I view them.

Gee…what a surprise! Jets release Tim Tebow. I can’t believe it considering he completed six total passes the entire season.

WORST ideas of the last two decades: Waterworld, Gigli, Clear Pepsi, ESPN 2’s “Cold Pizza”, “ESPN Hollywood”, and Tim Tebow as an NFL quarterback.

Stephen Curry from the “Queen City” of Charlotte has stepped up big time for the Golden State Warriors in the Playoffs. He has averaged 27 points a game and 10.5 assists in the 1st round vs. Denver. His All-Star teammate David Lee goes down and Steph Curry literally has but Golden State on his back to a commanding 3-1 series lead over Ty Lawson (UNC Alum) and the Denver Nuggets. As a man who now calls Charlotte “HOME”, we’re proud of you, Steph.

After Star Lotulelei, this Panthers Draft has been underwhelming and disappointing. NO corners, NO safeties, & NO receivers. On paper, I give the Draft a C-. We will see what happens.

Lester Hayes, Mike Haynes, Deron Cherry, and Steve Atwater could come out of Retirement to start in Panthers secondary.
