CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Police have arrested a man after they found 275 gallons of jet fuel in a storage facility near Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Mickell Frazier of Charlotte is charged with larceny by employee. Frazier worked for a company at the airport.

It’s not known if Frazier has an attorney.

A police report says officers spotted a truck with airport logos at the storage facility and went to check on it. Inside a locker, police say they found several containers of jet fuel.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said Thursday they aren’t sure what was planned for the jet fuel, which is a form of kerosene. They say there have been recent thefts of jet fuel in the country by people planning to sell it for use in diesel motor vehicles.
