Louisville vs Wichita State: if you are a casual sports fan and have no affiliation with Louisville, you have every reason to pull for Cinderella. If you love the game of college basketball and truly want to see the best teams play for the national title, you should pull for Louisville. If the nation’s best backcourt, of Peyton Siva and Russ Smith, do not get into foul trouble I dot see how Wichita State can win this game. Regardless of what happens it is amazing that Gregg Marshall has his team in this situation. The former Winthrop coach lost his top five scorers and has his team in the Final Four. But I think this is as far they get. Louisville 75, Wichita State 60.
Syracuse vs Michigan: The Wolverines have the two best players in the game in Point Guard Trey Burke and Center Mitch McGary. They have three players that are the sons of former NBA players, in Glenn Robinson III, Tim Hardaway Jr, and Jon Horford (son of Tito and brother of Al). And they have a fan base starving for success, as this is their first Final Four appearance in 20 years. But Syracuse’s legendary coach Jim Boeheim owns Michigan Head Coach John Beilein. Boeheim is 9-0 all time against Beilein, as his famous 2-3 zone has been impossible for Beilein’a teams to solve. And with the Orange’s zone rolling during the tournament, I think the same thing will happen again, setting up an All Big East Final. Syracuse 63, Michigan 60.
