CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) — The son of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, has been found dead in a hotel room in Charlotte.

Earlier today, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers and medics responded to a call regarding an unresponsive man at a SouthPark hotel. The man has been identified as Charlotte native, Reid (Fliehr) Flair.

Flair, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Like his father, Flair was also a professional wrestler. Flair was arrested in 2007 for assault and battery. Additionally, Flair has a history of drug abuse. He was arrested twice in 2009, for driving while impaired in Mecklenburg County and for drug possession.

Police have said that foul play is not suspected in this case, however, the county medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
