Miami vs Marquette: The loss of Reggie Johnson is a big one. Literally and figuratively. I love Buzz Williams, and the way Marquette battles, but I’m taking Shane Larkin. I think he’s the most clutch player in the game, including Aaron Craft from Ohio State. So, I’m leaning on Larkin tonight.

Ohio State vs Arizona: So, even though I’d take Larkin over Craft, I’ll take Craft over Arizona. Louisville is the best team in the tournament, but Ohio State is a legitimate title contender.

Indiana vs Syracuse: This is the game of the night. Jim Boeheim and his zone defense against Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller. I think this game goes down to the wire, but again, I’ll take the team with the best players. Too much Oladipo in the end. Indiana wins it.

Wichita State vs LaSalle: The cinderella matchup. I’ll take Gregg Marshall and the Shockers to make it to the Elite 8. Pretty neat that the former Winthrop coach has a chance to make such a big run.

So again I’m taking Miami, Ohio State, Indiana, and Wichita State. Check back tomorrow for the Friday picks.
