Since the Super Bowl has ended, news around the NFL has been pretty quiet. Not too many teams are making moves, everyone is pretty much enjoying the off-season. But talked has stirred up within the past week as free agency is moments away.

There have been a few power moves already made within the last week including Percy Harvin to the Seahawks and Anquan Boldin to the 49ers. These two receivers are expected to make big impacts with their new teams making the NFC West a very competitive conference. Boldin who recently won the Super Bowl with the Ravens, was not willing to take a pay cut after Joe Flacco’s record-breaking contract of 120 million. The Ravens also must resolve contract issues with Superstar safety, Ed Reed. His ending contract will make him a free agent at 4:00 Tuesday.

One of the biggest names in free agency receiver Mike Wallace. Coming off of a sub par performance with the Steelers last season, Mike Wallace is expected to sign with the Miami Dolphins when free agency begins. Wes Welker, Tom Brady’s go to man for years, has also decided to test the free agent market to see his value.

There are many teams out there with lots of needs. A great amount of players will become available in the market at 4:00. Teams will have to make cost efficient but strategic decisions in order to improve their squads. The 49ers have made a lot of noise with the signing of Boldin and have also been in talk with acquiring the lock down corner Darrell Revis of the Jets.   The clock is ticking and free agency will begin in a matter of minutes. Get ready because this free agency frenzy may impact your teams future.
