CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) — If you’re flying out of Charlotte-Douglas Airport over the next year, you may want to allot more time for parking.
Recently, the airport tore down two (the east and west,) hourly parking decks.
Construction has begun on a new, seven level hourly parking deck — which will also include a rental car facility.
In the meantime, travelers can park in the business valet lot — for $10 per day. However, space in the business valet lot may be limited.
Construction on the new parking deck is expected to be completed in one year.
