How does the old sayin’go, “I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired:.

That’s how I feel with the Charlotte Bobcats, when is enough enough?  How many 30 point losses can 1 fan base take?  How many double digit losses must we suffer thru?  How many shot clock violations can 1 team continue to have?

After watching the Bobcats fall apart once again in the second half the other night, it finally hit me like a ton of bricks.  The name BOBCATS has to go!!

Go away, go far away, because I think that this nickname has to be cursed.  The former owner, name will go unmentioned, had to place a curse on this city as his last act before mercifully leaving town.  How else do you explain the ongoing p— poor basketball by this franchise?  I have in the past sat on the fence when it comes to the nickname change but NOW is the time.

So let this season come to a merciful end, let’s all gather at the corner of Trade and Tryon with all of our Bobcat gear, get anything with Bobcats on it and burn it with the excitement of a game winning 3 pointer.

And then do what has to be done, Bring Back The Buzz!!  It might be one of the very few wins we get the rest of the year.  Because as the great Peter Brady once said, ” It’s a time to change, you got to rearrange”.
