Channel Surfing With Yarbs: Issues With The 4-Letter Word (ESPN)
If you have listened to me enough, you know that from time to time, I have some issues with the 4 letter network (that’s ESPN in case you didn’t know). But I have to give credit where credit is due, so kudos go out to the person responsible long ago for putting the best announcing team together that college hoops fans could ever hope for. The trio of Sean McDonough, Jay Bilas, and The Governor Bill Raftery have been entertaining us for a good while now and they just seem to get better with time. The only problem is that they just don’t do enough games together for my liking. It doesn’t seem to matter who’s playing, if these 3 guys are on the call, I’m watching. I simply want to see more of this and a little less of some others.
Hey look, a South Carolina vs. Georgia game is on. Great game, should be a classic. Oh wait, it’s not football but basketball. Never mind, what’s on the Food Network?
Please, Fox Sports, do us a favor and find a role for poor Erin Andrews. She looked a little lost on pit road in Daytona looking for someone to talk to. Unfortunately for her, she found 50 Cent who proceeded to try and take the checkered flag. Instead, all he got was the caution.
Keep on watching and learning.
