CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Charlotte police are investigating a shooting death.

Police say the man was shot around 1 a.m. Monday in a neighborhood near the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. Police found a man in the driveway of a home.

The man was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he died.

The victim’s name has not been released.

Witnesses reported seeing several people run from the scene. No arrests have been made.
