Greetings and salutations, it’s time once again to go “Hitting To All Fields”.

After a tough, emotional loss on the road to Duke, UNC has come back strong with back-to-back wins over Virginia and at Georgia Tech…

N.C. State has also recovered from a defeat at Duke a couple weeks ago with a huge psychological win at Littlejohn Coliseum over Clemson along with a lackluster win at home over Virginia Tech and Florida State.

Coach K. and the Blue Devils did not respond in the wake of their epic comeback win over UNC. Duke got out played in their final ever meeting in College Park against longtime ACC foe Maryland 83-81. Mason Plumlee, feel free to earn your scholarship next time with a better effort than 4 points and 3 rebounds.

The Miami Hurricanes are 13-0 in the ACC after a tough fought victory over Virginia. Who would have ever thought when the Canes entered the ACC in 2004 that the BASKETBALL program would win a conference title before the football program? Two reasons why: Larry Coker and Randy Shannon…

Speaking of the “U.”, the NCAA better known as the “Epitome of Hypocrisy” has cited Miami with the dreaded “Lack of Institutional Control”. How can a dysfunctional organization led by the inept and corrupt Mark Emmert charge a school with “LOIC” when they admitted improper misconduct by their very own V.P. of Enforcement whom they FIRED? NCAA, take Your letter of unfounded and unproven allegations and shove it! Sincerely, Yours Truly and the REAL WORLD.

The two highest paid Mets outfielders are Jason Bay (now in Seattle) and Bobby Bonilla (retired in 2001). The Mets owe Bonilla until 2035. The Mets also owe Bret Saberhagen (retired in 2001) $250,000 annually until 2029. great business decisions by the Wilpon Family. Just curious, are Dave Kingman and Kevin Elster still cashing checks as well?

As for the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities, the next time the league has a Slam Dunk Contest, put your superstars on display instead of no names like Terrence Ross, Jeremy Evans, James White, and Eric Bledsoe. How about LeBron James actually give back to the league instead of hopping up and down on the sidelines like a male cheerleader dressed like Urkel?

Sincerely,
THE “UNSILENT MAJORITY” Marc with a “C” James
