Here is your daily read on some of the happenings you have may have missed overnight. If your listening to the show at 6am, you already missed an epic Mac mistake. He mentioned Kemba Walker and Corey Maggette representing the Bobcats in the Rising Stars Game during All Star weekend. We are off to a wonderful start

Clippers down Lakers again: For the first time since 92/93 the Clippers have taken the season series from the Lakers after their 125-101 rout last night. Chris Paul had 24, Chauncey Billups hit 5 threes, and Blake Griffin scored 18 of his 22 in the 1st.The first half of the season finally comes to an end for the Lakers as they head to the break at 25-29 and 3 1/2 behind Houston for the 8th seed. In a season that has been filled with many distractions for the Lakers, the next one will be the trade deadline that is fast approaching. As we saw during his time in Orlando, Dwight Howard isn’t mature enough to stay focused when the rumors start swirling. D12 was supposed to be the man to help raise another banner in the Staples Center but at this point even a playoff spot seems unlikely. The Clippers finished the first half on a 4 game win streak and looked to make a run towards the NBA Finals

LeBron’s Streak snapped: The Heat went into the All Star break with a big 110-100 win over the Thunder but LeBron’s streak of 30 point/60 percent shooting games came to an end as LBJ missed a 3 as the shot clock ran down with just over a minute left. The miss dropped him down to 58 percent during the run.The questions about what is wrong with LeBron will now start up again. Why did he miss? Is he mentally strong enough? Why was he not shooting over 70 percent to begin with?  I’m sure those absurd statements will be made by Skip Bayless at some point in the next couple hours

McDonalds All Americans: The 2013 McDonalds All American teams were announced yesterday. 5 of those players will be coming to Tobacco Road next season. Anthony Barber will attend NC State while  Isaiah Hicks and Kennedy Meeks will be going to UNC. Duke also landed 2 on the team with Matt Jones and Jabari Parker. Kentucky set a record as they ended up getting 5 players selected. Number 1 recruit Andrew Wiggins was selected but still hasn’t chosen the school he will play for. One thing we do know about Wiggins is that his choice will change the landscape of College Baskebtall as we know it. At least for the 5 months he stays in college

Mac Attack guests for Friday:  Chris Canty 845am, Mike DeCoursy at 930am, and Miami’s Reggie Johnson at 945am
