COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Richland County deputies say a 73-year-old woman was running a gambling operation from her Columbia home.

Investigators said Wednesday that they went to Betty Graham’s house after getting a tip. Deputies say they found seven video gambling machines, a gun, almost $6,700 in cash and marijuana inside.

Authorities say they also found ledgers where Graham kept details about payouts, who she owed money to and how much money she was making.

Graham is charged with operating a gambling house and simple possession of marijuana. It wasn’t known if she had a lawyer.
