I am hoping for another Blueblood rivalry classic tonight in Cameron, but I am not expecting one.   I am expecting a double digit win by the Devils (78-65 to be exact).  I do think The Heels stand a much better chance to get that coveted resume win vs. Duke in the Dean Dome next month.  Why am I picking the Devils by 15?  I have many reasons,  but these are the most important.

1) Cook vs Paige- I expect this to be a problem for the Heels on both ends of the court.  Can Paige hold up better vs Cook than he did Shane Larkin and Lorenzo Brown?  In this nasty enviroment?  I believe he struggles to get the Heels into their offense and struggles vs the Pick and Roll on the other end.

2) Mason Plumlee vs UNC’s Cast of Characters-   The Best Big man in the country vs. role players like Jackson Simmons, Brice Johnson and Desmond Hubert.   Plus, wide body Joel James is out.  And, if the Heels try to help these guys with doubles, then they have to deal with………..

3) Perimeter Shooting—Duke is 6th in the country in 3 point shooting and UNC is 234th in the country in 3 point Defense. That doesn’t bode well for the Heels.

4) UNC on the road vs top teasms- UNC is 0-3 against top 25 RPI teams on the road.  And they have been down by 25 points or more in each of those games (IU, MIA and ST).  And, that doesn’t bode will tonight in Cameron and the #2  team in the country.
