CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) — Twenty-seven Firefighters from the Charlotte Fire Department were dispatched to a house fire near Carolina Place Mall, just after noon today.

The home, located in South Charlotte, had thick smoke coming from the roof of the house.

No one was injured during the fire, however, the family who resides in the home has been displaced.

According to CFD, Firefighters had the fire under control in 17 minutes.
