CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a man in northwest Charlotte.

Police were called to a home shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday and found a male who was bleeding.

Investigators say the man appeared to have been assaulted. The man died at the scene. His name has not been released.

Detectives said the death appears to be the result of a domestic incident.
