Saturday night the Bobcats and Brittney both won. The Bobcats beat the Timberwolves 102-101 on a Gerald Henderson 3-pointer with 4.6 seconds remaining, and Flash Girl beat aging by celebrating the anniversary of her 21st … and in turn, raised a bunch of sporting-activity toys and children’s books for A Child’s Place. Special thanks to everyone who brought “birthday presents” to donate, and to the Bobcats for hosting the Flashy birthday party in their Front Court Lounge. If you’ve never been, you need to check it out — it’s a club in the arena, DJ and all. Between the Front Court Lounge, Back Court Bar, Rooftop Bar, and concession stands at every corner, a Bobcats game is an arena of nightlife, where you can have a ball (see what I did there)
