CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) — A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer was involved in an accident on Providence Road this morning.

First Responders are working to clear the accident, however, Providence Road and Highway 51 are experiencing traffic delays.

There have not been any injuries reported in this accident.
