Doing My Part, a local organization that assists the homeless, cancer treatment and research, abused children, natural disaster victims and various urgent projects, is in need of volunteers for their participation in the Color Run at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The event will be held tomorrow November 17th, 2012, and volunteers are needed between the hours of 5 and 8 AM.

The Color Run is a nationwide, family fun event that consists of a 5K colorful walk, run, or jog.

For their involvement, Doing My Part will be able to raise $500 for the cause. This money will be allocated towards their next project. For more information, please visit the organizations Street Team page on Meetup.
