MARINE CORPS AIR STATION BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) — The USO and Sesame Street are joining forces to bring Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover to the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort.
The military support organization has scheduled shows for Tuesday in the military installation’s gym for 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The events are only for military identification holders and their families.
The tour includes a new character, Katie, who is a child in a military family. She learns to deal with the relocation of her family with the help of other characters in the children’s show.
At each 30-minute show, special materials to assist families and children are to be presented to those attending.
