SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — A motorist says a man helped push his broken down car off a Spartanburg County highway, then robbed him.

The victim told Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies that he was pushing his car off an exit on Interstate 85 Business around 10 p.m. Tuesday when the man offered to help.

Investigators say the two men pushed the car into a parking lot, and the suspect then pulled a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet.

Deputies say the suspect got $2 before he walked away.

No arrests have been made.
