SAN FRANCISCO (CBS Charlotte) — A stagehand for a gay pornography company has filed a lawsuit against his former San Francisco employer claiming that he had to give illegal injections to performers’ penises to help with their erections.

According to Courthouse News Service, Ronald Baker claims in his lawsuit he was fired from Charlotte-based Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network after pricking his thumb with a syringe during a porn shoot.

“Defendants require employees, who are not models and are not trained or certified in any manner to give injections, to inject controlled substances for erectile dysfunction using a hypodermic syringe into the model’s penis,” the complaint states, according to Courthouse News Service. “ The model can then maintain an erection for multiple hours in duration, during which time substantial shooting of the film can take place at one time without lengthy breaks to ensure the actor maintains an erection.”

Baker allegedly injected the models with TriMix.

Baker’s attorney told the San Francisco Chronicle that he refused to continue giving the porn stars injections because they did not have a prescription for the medication used to treat erectile dysfunction.

“They are injecting a controlled substance into all these models without checking with a doctor if it’s OK for that person to have that prescription medication, and they are using people on the set to give the shots,” Stewart told the Chronicle. “You have to be a nurse in the state of California to give an injection.”

Stewart added that the company refused to pay Baker his wages and cover his health insurance.

Courthouse News reports that Baker is seeking punitive damages for wrongful termination and emotional distress. Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network has yet to comment on the case.
