Hey sports fans, T-Bone, Bruce and Chris here with our picks for the NFL slate this weekend. We’re going to keep track of these for bragging rights, so we’ll keep you updated each week with who’s in the lead and who doesn’t know as much as they think they may.
So here are our standings after our brutal week three picks. T-Bone won the week going 11-4, Chris was second at 10-5, and Bruce went 8-7. T-Bone remains in the lead at 37-26, followed by 34-29 and, Bruce at 29-34. T-Bone is apparently on some kind of baseball binge and didn’t turn his picks in by the time of posting, so instead of getting a zero I let my dog Jackson pick in his place. Here are our picks for week five.
Thursday Night Game
Rams @ Cardinals: These Thursday night games just keep getting uglier and uglier. Kevin Kolb took a few on the chin and so did Chris and Bruce they both took the Cardinals. Jackson: Rams.
Dolphins @ Bengals: Andy Dalton doesn’t seem to have any sign of a sophomore slump. That’s why Chris and Bruce both like the Bengals at home this week. Jackson: Dolphins.
Ravens @ Chiefs: The Ravens have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL through four weeks, the Chiefs have not, we are taking the Ravens. Jackson: Ravens.
Falcons @ Redskins: The Falcons were able to control one running quarterback last week, we both believe they can do it again this week, Dirty Birds around. Jackson: Redskins.
Browns @ Giants: The Giants are a hard team to pick, they are up they down, they down they are up, however the Browns are always down, so Giants it is. Jackson: Browns
Eagles @ Steelers: Roethlisberger has thrown 8 touchdowns this season, Vick has thrown almost as many interceptions, you do the math. Bruce and Chris are going Steelers. Jackson: Eagles.
Seahawks @ Panthers: Bruce has abandoned the pick against the Panthers that way I’m happy either way approach. I’m guessing after that loss there was no consolation. This week Bruce is going Panthers Chris is taking the Seahawks. Jackson: Seahawks.
Bears @ Jaguars: MJD had some words on Twitter for Jay Cutler after he exited a playoff game early a few years ago. This is the first time these teams have met since the incident. Cutler seems like a person that would hold a grudge. Da Bears. Jackson: Bears
Titans @ Vikings: Vikings have been one of the surprise teams this season and the Titans have just looked surprised most of the time. Vikings Ahoy. Jackson: Titans.
Broncos @ Patriots: Brady and the Patriots have haunted Manning throughout his career. This week I see history repeating itself and Brady is going to take out some frustration on Eli’s older brother. Chris and Bruce are going with the Pats at home. Jackson: Patriots.
Bills @ 49ers: This one could be over before it begins, the Niners look poised and ready to make a Super Bowl run and the Bills look poised to make a top five draft pick run. Bruce and Chris are both on the 49ers. Jackson: Niners.
Sunday Night Game
Chargers @ Saints: Even though the Saints lost last week they looked good against the Packers making us both believe their first win comes Sunday Night. Jackson: Chargers.
Monday Night Game
Texans @ Jets: The Jets got shut out last week and I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t get shut out this week again. What is record for longest drought without scoring? Everybody has the Texans. Jackson: Jets
