I’m still “MR. PERFECT” for “Bet Your Kids’ College Tuition Picks”…college football’s 1st EPIC weekend.
Still can’t believe the Panthers allowed Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons to go 77 yards in 54 seconds WITHOUT a single time-out. After his regrettable 3 interception performance against the defending Super Bowl champion Giants, Clark Kent went back into the phone booth and turned back into “SUPER CAM” with over 300 yards of total offense; 3 TDs & NO INTS. I asked Cam Newton if he would’ve gone for it on 4th Down. He said, “That’s what Coach Rivera called. I’m a team player.” My interpretation reading between the lines: Hell yeah, I would’ve gone for it and I guarantee I would’ve gotten it too!
Bottom Line: Cam Newton is the very reason why the Panthers should’ve won the game; Marty Hurney and his “Tag Sale” defense with Haruki Nakamua & Captain Munnerlyn is the reason why they lost the game. Aside from Chris Gamble, there isn’t a single player on the Carolina Panthers who could’ve started for last year’s Alabama Crimson Tide secondary with Dre Kirkpatrick, Mark Barron, Dee Milliner, & DeQuan Menzie. How does a guy like Marty Hurney continue to keep his job after countless awful talent evaluation decisions: SEE Haruki Nakamua, Captain Munnerlyn, Jimmy Clausen, Everette Brown, Dwayne Jarrett, Armanti Edwards, etc.
“Big Money” Charles Johnson is having a career game against the Falcons with 3 and a half sacks. He definitely earned his $32 million dollar signing bonus. Now the Panthers need to convince him he is playing the Falcons EVERY game in the Georgia Dome.
Tremendous upcoming weekend for College Football: I’m headed to Chicago for the Renewed Rivalry better known as “Catholics-Convicts”; #5 Georgia @ #6 South Carolina; #8 West Virginia with Heisman front-runner Geno Smith @ #11 Texas and #4 LSU @ #10 Florida.
And last, but definitely NOT least, “Mr. Perfect” aka Yours Truly remains UNDEFEATED: with “Bet Your Kids’ College Tuition” Picks: 5-0. Thank you Colby Cameron and Louisiana Tech -3 over UVA.
The Unsilent Majority, better known as Marc with a “C”.
