Many people say “as long as you’re watching it doesn’t matter how bad the officiating is.” Well, that might be true but the integrity of the NFL has been totally compromised. And that was before the debacle in Seattle last night. While its a two way street, Roger Goodell must find a common ground with the real officials. The product he is currently putting on the field is a joke. It lasts too long, they break some of the rules, they don’t know some of the others, and they provide no consistency with their officiating. Most importantly, they are deciding who wins and loses. And that should never happen.

Last week: 6-10 (28-20 for the season)

Stl over Sea

With FSU’s comeback victory over Clemson they proved they are a legitimate national title contender. The bad news, however, is that Alabama and Oregon will stay ahead of the Seminoles if they remain undefeated. The Ducks and Tide schedule strength is greater than FSU’s. The good nes is that its almost a certainty that one or both of those teams will stub their toe. If you don’t believe me look at what happened to Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Stanford last season. Regardless, Jimbo Fisher has finally put FSU back in the title picture. And that’s the first time in more than a decade that they’ve been in the conversation.
