CASSATT, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say a man killed another man, then dismembered the victim and put the remains in several black plastic bags in Kershaw County.

Sheriff Jim Matthews said the suspect told a relative what he had done, and that relative called police Monday morning.

Matthews says the suspect in is custody and being questioned by investigators. Authorities have not released the suspect’s name or a motive for the killing.

Deputies and State Law Enforcement Division agents are at the mobile home park in Cassatt where the body was found gathering evidence.
