CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating the death of a man found by a neighbor in his home.
Police have not said how 52-year-old Alfred Michael Smith died. But officers say there were obvious signs of foul play.
A neighbor found Smith’s body Tuesday night when she went to check on him.
Debbie Jobe says Smith had been in poor health but had appeared to be getting better in recent weeks.
No arrests have been made.
