Florida Guard Bradley Beal Discusses His NBA Future
Mac Attack 6/4/12: Ex Florida Gator star Bradley Beal talks with the guys about his NBA future and discusses possibly becoming a Bobcat in the coming year!
Beal would think it “would be a big accomplishment” to be the second pick in the NBA Draft and basically being picked anywhere in the Top 5. Bradley Beal hasn’t been in contact with the Charlotte Bobcats yet, but his agent has opened the line of communication.
Preparing himself for the NBA Combine this weekend, Beal sets the record straight that he’s 6’5 with shoes and 6’4 without shoes with a wingspan of 6’5.
When discussing the NBA Draft, Beal won’t be too disappointed if he falls pretty far down the list of being picked. He compared himself to Ray Allen in shooting and driving to the basket like Dwyane Wade. “I really take pride in my defense,” he says.
In regards to Anthony Davis playing in the NBA, Beal thinks that he will be very successful. “He’s terrific at blocking shots,” he says. He was pretty low key about his excitement if he got picked to play in Charlotte, but he does see a great opportunity to play for the Bobcats and have a turn-around season similar to what Kevin Durant did with the Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder.
The NBA Draft will be held on Thursday, June 28th. For more information on the NBA Draft, please click here.
