Ask Flash Girls: Manswers To Your Questions About Women

From The Mac Attack

This morning Mac’s keys and cell phone got into a fight, and the keys won, breaking his phone … much to his wife’s dismay. In fact, he did so right after he left her a post-it note with a sweet message on her steering wheel. Now she thinks he left the note to make up for breaking the phone, when in reality he probably scratched up the phone after leaving the note in her car when he put the keys in his pocket (but I didn’t want to tell him that to add insult to injury).

So, he wondered why we women assume you men have ulterior motives in your romantic gestures.

That’s why I’m here boys … to give you sports flashes and help you dissect the woman mind.

So I asked Mac (on-air) what’s his record with sweet gestures. Because if you’re 3 mistakes to 3 gestures, we’re going to notice a correlation. Just add an extra sweet gesture here and there to make your romantic record better, and we will pay more attention to the sweet things you do vs. the stupid ones. Not that we’re keeping score, but we know the difference between kissing up and a caring gesture (especially women with kids who try to do the same thing!) But when Mac gets his phone fixed he should text his wife a sweet message, to let her know he got it fixed.

Are all women crazy, or just my wife? ~Paul from Huntersville

Yes. We can be at least.

Sometimes men cross our hormonal wires and we raise our voices or do something dramatic to get their attention. And in the instances when behavior becomes suspect we may do a little facebook stalking. And those are just the normal girls (you know, the ones who can admit to sometimes acting crazy).

The crazy ones are those crying in the bathroom on the set of the Bachelor, the ones calling his new girlfriend and threatening her, and sitting outside his house waiting for him to get home so she can beat him — and then turn proceeds to call the cops on him for domestic violence when he hits her back.

There is not a very thin line between pissed and psycho.

So Paul, why is your wife crazy? Because she changes her mind a lot, loses her cool sometimes, and cries for no reason on occasion? … if so she’s not crazy, she’s just a woman. Women tend to lose a little bit of their sanity when they fall in love, so if she gets overly-emotional over you, then at least you know she really loves you.

If Anthony Davis comes to Charlotte do you think he’ll get a woman here despite his unibrow?   ~Sean from Charlotte

Yes …  for starters he’ll be able to afford a waxing, and could get an endorsement from a men’s grooming spa like a NASCAR driver. But the brutally honest truth is that money has no face to some women. Will he get a good woman that isn’t dating him just because he’s a baller?… not as likely. But then again, a good woman would over look his unibrow if she really cared for him. All I can say is it would personally turn me off, but I’m not the one kissing him so who cares what I think. But then again, I’m not one to talk as I spoofed fun of him at a fiesta I was at last weekend.
