Dabo Swinney “We Don’t Dwell On Giving Up 70, But We Sure Won’t Forget About It”
Mac Attack 04/24/12: Clemson Head Coach Dabo Swinney joined the guys to recap the spring game, how he feels now about giving up 70 to WVU, and the moment he went off on South Carolina last year
Dabo Swinney is in the middle of player practices and booster circuit staying busy getting ready for the Clemson Tiger’s 2012 season.
With 11 seniors, he says that his team is pretty young with half of the team being freshmen. “We’re a big sophomore, freshman football team, and we’re gonna need some guys that can really step up from that group” in football practice this coming summer. The area he says that the guys really need to grow up in the offensive and defensive lines.
Losing to West Virginia in the Orange Bowl and giving up 70 points isn’t a concern to Swinney. “It’s all about the next game and the next season,” Dabo says. “It is what it is and we don’t dwell on it.” The great win they had in the ACC Championship is good to reflect on, but his team is ready for this season.
