Earlier this week The Brave’s Chipper Jones stepped up to the plate after missing the first few games of the season following surgery, then proceeded to hit a three-run homer to to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-4 to seal a three-game sweep.
I mean, the man is a seven-time All-Star and the 1999 MVP. And he’s currently Atlanta’s No. 3 hitter, even after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee just last month. Does he have super powers too? Or he’s just brave I guess. Pun intended.
He may be retiring at the end of the season, but he still plays (and parties) like a rock star. As I witnessed last year during the Daytona 500.
It’s also his 40th birthday next week, so this slap on the butt can double as his birthday spankings.
