HANAHAN, S.C. (CBS Charlotte) — South Carolina authorities say a woman bashed her boyfriend’s head with a glass globe containing jellyfish during an argument.

According to a Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office report, April Markel-Boshard, 38, was arrested on March 11 and charged with aggravated criminal domestic violence.

Police say Boshard argued with Jerry Eversole about going to the store with his daughter. Eversole told police that after refusing to let her go because he thought she was drunk, Boshard got upset and struck him in the head with a glass globe containing jellyfish.

Police say Boshard then locked Eversole and his daughter out of the house, while breaking glass and items around the residence.

According to the report, when police arrived, Boshard told them that Eversole beat her up first. Police then took Boshard into custody.

She is currently being held at the Spartanburg County Detention Center under $2,130 bond.
