The Drive Thursday 1-12-12- NFL great John Madden talks with Taylor and Marc about the NFL playoffs, we get his opinions on Cam Newtons rookie season, and how he feels about the Raiders and their future.

John Madden is the quintessential football analyst.  After playing in the league he became a coach for the Raiders in 1967 and in 1969 he was promoted to head coach becoming the youngest head coach in the league at 32.  In 1979 Madden left coaching to start his broadcasting career.  He started with CBS but by the end of his career he had worked for all four major networks.  Madden retired in 2009 from broadcasting and currently does a 6–9 minute on-air chat on KCBS radio in San Francisco with the sports and news anchors every weekday morning at 8:15 am Pacific Time, with recorded repeats throughout the day.
