From The Mac Attack
Mac Attack 1/09/11: Our college football guy Tom Luginbill from ESPN joined the guys in studio today to preview the BCS National Championship game tonight.
Tom thinks the big x factor in tonight’s game will be Alabama’s QB AJ McCarron. He left many plays on the field during the first match up, and he isn’t a dual threat with his legs like LSU QB Jordan Jefferson is. He has to make the play with his arm, and cant depend on other attributes.
He doesn’t think Oklahoma State hasn’t a case for being a National Champion. They aren’t on the same level of Alabama/LSU in the front 7 on defense, and if they played in the SEC they would be just like Arkansas.
Tom predicts that LSU will win the game tonight and it will down as one the greatest single season feats in College Football history. He says that because of the schedule and the fact they would have beaten Bama twice to get the Sears Trophy
