Hey sports fans, Daniel, Bruce and Chris here with our picks for the NFL slate this weekend.  We’re going to keep track of these for bragging rights, so we’ll keep you updated each week with who’s in the lead and who doesn’t know as much as they think they may.

So here are the standings after our week sixteen picks.  Daniel won the week at 12-4, Chris and Bruce both went 11-5.  Heading into week seventeen we are all tied at 126-66.  So here it is for all the marbles, the whole cannoli, the title of best game picker of the not so expert pickers, (drum roll) here are our week seventeen picks.

1:00 Games

Panthers @ Saints: Despite the Panthers strong finish to the season, we all saw Drew Brees carve up the Falcons Monday night so we are going with the Saints.

Lions @ Packers:  Even if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t play the whole game we think he can put up enough points to get this one done, everybody is on the Packer wagon.

49ers @ Rams:  The 49ers are playing for a home playoff game,  the Rams have haven’t showed up for a Sunday yet, give us all the 49ers.

Jets @ Dolphins:  After losing to the Giants last week the Jets have one more chance to grab a wild card spot, we all like Rex Ryan to get it together this week, Jets.

Bears @ Vikings: It’s the battle of back up running backs, Chris and Bruce are taking the Bears, while Daniel likes the Vikings.

Bills @ Patriots: With rumors this week of a Tom Brady injury that turned out to not really be an injury, we think, we are all taking the Patriots.

Redskins @ Eagles:  At the beginning of the season Vince Young called the Eagles the dream team and Rex Grossman said the Redskins would be playing in the playoffs, both were wrong as they are playing to not be last in the NFC East.  We all like the quote unquote dream team in this one, Eagles.

Colts @ Jaguars:  Despite winning two in a row and making their best effort not to have the number one pick of 2012 we think the Colts winning ways end here, everybody is taking the Jaguars.

Titans @ Texans:  After losing two in a row the not so experts predict the Texans to bounce back in this one.

4:00 Games

Buccaneers @ Falcons: Atlanta has been good at home and the Bucs have been good nowhere, we all the like the Dirty Birds in this one.

Ravens @ Bengals: This one was a tough one both teams with playoff implications on the line, but Chris and Bruce take the Ravens, while Daniel likes the Bengals.

Steelers @ Browns:  We all think the week off has given Roethlisberger enough time to heal so we are taking the Steelers in this one.

Chiefs @ Broncos:  In another tough AFC game Kyle Orton takes on his former team and the phenom who replaced him, Daniel is taking the Chiefs, while Chris and Bruce are grabbing a knee and taking the Broncos.

Chargers @ Raiders:  The Chargers have seem to of woken up their offense lately but the Raiders are looking to avoid a complete land slide late in the season, we all like the Silver and Black.

Seahawks @ Cardinals: With nothing really on the line this game is for the birds,  Chris and Daniel like the Seahawks, while Bruce is going with the Cardinals.

Sunday Night Football

Cowboys @ Giants: The Sunday night one is a big one, win and you’re in, lose and you’re watching next week on your couch.  Chris and Daniel like the Giants at home, while Bruce likes Tony Romo and his hand and the Cowboys.

Thanks everybody for a great NFL season and an awesome 2011, Happy New Year we will see you in 2012.
