Every Sunday, Daniel, Bruce and Chris will be bringing you their “expert” fantasy football advice as you look for the player that will give you the edge in your weekly matchup.  Here are our week nine selections.

Bruce’s Picks

Start: Matt Ryan: Quarterback, Atlanta Falcons: Matt Ryan has been pretty shaky his last three outings, completing just 60% of his passes, with a touchdown to interception ratio of 3-4.  Look for Ryan to break out tomorrow against the hapless Colts.

Sit: Chris Johnson: Running Back, Tennessee Titans:  I’m fed up with CJ2K, he’s on my bench until otherwise noted.

Sleeper: Shonn Greene: Running Back, New York Jets: Greene has been on a nice roll as of late.  He’s also facing a Buffalo defense that’s giving up over 120 rushing yards per game.

Chris’ Picks

Start: Julio Jones: Wide Receiver, Atlanta Falcons: Jones is coming out of the bye week after missing a few weeks to injury to face the Colts.  Indianapolis ranks 29th in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers.  Even though the Falcons are away Matt Ryan is still in a dome where he does much better.  I expect both Julio Jones and Roddy White to have nice games.

Sit: Chris Johnson: Running Back, Tennessee Titans: This one is difficult for me I have been a fan of Chris Johnson ever since he came out of ECU to the NFL.  He went school in North Carolina, we share the same name, and he has helped me win a couple of fantasy leagues, what’s not to like?  This year it’s more like what is to like?  Johnson only has one touchdown this season and only 302 yards rushing.  He is averaging only 2.8 yards a carry with only one game with over a hundred yards.  For someone you took in the first round he should be no where near your starting lineup.

Sleeper: Chris Ogbonnaya: Running Back, Cleveland Browns: Ogbonnaya will get the start this week for Clevland and with Hardesty and Hillis out pretty much all of the work.  It is not a great match-up for him but he would be a very nice flex play this week, you could do a lot worse (see Chris Johnson).

Daniel’s Picks

Start: Eli Manning: Quarterback, New York Giants: This one seems like a no-brainer.  The G-Men are banged up in the running game, Manning is coming off a solid performance last week and the Patriots defense can’t stop anyone.  Start Eli with confidence tomorrow.

Sit: Joe Flacco: Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens: In the Ravens last meeting with the Steelers, Flacco was on fire.  He threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns.  Not tonight though, the Steeler defense is banged up yes, but I will still take a motivated “Blitzburg” to frustrate Flacco all night.

Sleeper: Jonathan Baldwin: Wide Receiver, Kansas City Chiefs: Going into Monday Night Football last week, Baldwin had only played in one game and record just one reception for 14 yards.  Against San Diego though, the entire nation saw what Baldwin was capable of.  Today the Chiefs face off against the 27th worst passing defense in the league, the Miami Dolphins.  With a Dolphins defense forced to key in on Dwayne Bowe, and a return game that has been rejuvenated by the legs of Jackie Battle, look for Baldwin to take advantage of 1-1 coverage.
