Charlotte Men Call Police After Drugs Were Stolen
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS Charlotte) – Two Charlotte men have turned to an unlikely source to help find out who stole their cocaine, marijuana, and $1,100: the cops.
After being allegedly robbed of their drugs and money by two male suspects they had let into their home, the two men reported the incident to Charlotte-Mecklenburg authorities, according to a police report obtained by CBS Charlotte.
Sometime between late Saturday and early Sunday morning, the two victims, ages 65 and 36, were allegedly robbed after the suspects took the cocaine powder, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, and $1,100 “by brandishing a black firearm.”
“Officers were flagged down by victim regarding robbery,” the report read. “Victims advised unknown suspects were invited into the listed address after knocking on door.”
One of the victims sustained minor injuries.
Neither of the victims — both listed as unemployed in the report — were charged for drug possession despite laying claim to the drugs that were stolen.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
